Replacement Tanks Available For GM C4500/C5500 Cab Chassis

Transfer Flow has introduced midship replacement fuel tank systems for 2003 - 2009 GM C4500/C5500 diesel cab chassis. They replace either an OEM midship or aft axle fuel tank system, and are available for 60", 84", 108", 120", and 126" CAs. Press here for dimensions.

The midship replacement fuel systems come with all parts needed for installation, including straps and mounting hardware.   The fuel tanks are made from a combination of 12 and 14-gauge aluminized steel for superior rust resistance and strength. Each fuel tank is baffled to reduce fuel sloshing, and is powder coated black for a durable finish. They come with our 60,000/3 year limited warranty.

  • 43 gallon fuel tank fits 2003-2009 GM C4500 - C5500 with 60” CA.
  • 48 gallon fuel tank fits 2003-2009 GM C4500 - C5500 with 84”, 108”, 120”, 126” CA.
  • 43 & 48 gallon fuel tanks replace OEM midship or aft axle fuel tank.
  • 35 gallon fuel tank replaces OEM tank on 4x4 only, and is located on passenger’s side.
  • Fuel tanks are baffled to reduce fuel sloshing.

Auxiliary tank upgrade kit - upgrades a Transfer Flow GM cab chassis replacement tank to an auxiliary fuel system using our TRAX-II computer system. This kit is only available if the chassis cam with an aft axle fuel tank.
